Another Airport On the Chopping
Block?
The aviation community in St. Petersburg, FL have been fighting
hard for several months (really years) to keep their airport,
"Albert Whitted", open. The government staff at EAA
thought you'd like to read this story that was just published
- as it captures both sides of the save the airport issues very
well and provides good information that can be used at other
airports in FL (click
here to read the story). Plus, it shows that the FAA really
does care that we don't loose general aviation airports.
